Please view FDR's 1937 tax return. FDR could not calculate his tax due and FDR wrote the Commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service requesting his assistance with the calculation. FDR charitably forwarded a $15,000 check for "a good deal more than half of the eventual tax". Now, where were FDR's assistant's and accountants? Also note the hand-written return as in 1934.
